Our beautiful coastline becomes just that bit more magical during migration season – so this August & September, we’re sculpting an ode to the whale!
September: Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st – 2pm to 5pm
During this course we’ll design, sculpt and detail our whales using a smooth white clay, we’ll then decorate using oxides and underglazes. Once your pieces are finished, we will fire and clear glaze your sculpture.
What’s included?
Six (6) hours of tuition and all tools and materials needed to make yourself a whale; including approx 1.2kg of clay, underglaze, clear glaze, and two firings.
Post workshop, your creations will be dried, glazed and fired and will be ready for collection from the Nook approximately 6 weeks after your session.

BYO welcome! Complimentary tea and coffee is available, along with glassware.
This class is for adults and mature youth (15+) accompanied by a paying adult.
We recommend having short trimmed nails and wearing clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy in.
PLEASE NOTE Classes are meant to be social. If we don’t get a minimum of 4 bookings, we will reschedule the class. Please check your emails and social media the morning of your session, you will only hear from us if the workshop is cancelled.
